Sensorineural deafness results from damage to the neural receptors of the inner ear, the nerve pathways to the brain, or the area of the brain that receives sound information.,domain:The N-terminal domain interacts with the C-terminal domain of LAYN. An interdomain interaction between its N-terminal and C-terminal domains inhibits its ablilty to bind LAYN.
