In the kidney, expressed in mesangial cells, glomerular endothelial cells, and tubular epithelial cells. Also expressed in mast cells, and in astrocytes during the repair process. Expressed in Descemet's membrane. Specifically expressed in peritoneal fibroblasts and mesothelial cells.
